just killing time *bang* *bang*
I'm currently waiting for that 'Shoujiki Shindoi' special that Ochie gave me to be burned onto vcd so I just decided to post while I'm on. So this week is almost over and I'm looking forward to the very loooong weekend. You see after Saturday and Sunday, its Oct 31 and Nov 1 which are both declared holidays. Preparation for the undas or All Saints' and All Souls' days. You see in Philippine setting, it could also mean a good reason for a getaway out of the city. You bet most would be heading to the beach, Tagaytay or Baguio or where their home provinces are. My province is in Nueva Ecija up north. It is the place where most of my Dad's second degree relatives are at but unfortunately, i haven't visited that place since birth and i may not be visiting soon so my looong weekend would probably be spent either with my friends who have plans to go on a roadtrip to nowhere yet or by my lonesome to unwind, relax over my jdoramas and other stuff which I really don't mind doing. Well, I'm also itching to get a good book to read as the last book I read (Memoirs of a Geisha) was about 2 months ago. Have to replenish and catch up on some reading.
So what are the significant happenings that have occurred for the past days? Aside from Armi's birthday, my sister telling us of her plans for her debut (she's turning 18 by January and i bet we'll all be busy), Mari and Dennis' last few days (coz they just handed their 'goodbye' letter a few days ago), Jen's surprise visit with free lunch, Mem's oggling over Joel Torre encounter hahaha, in fandomworld, there's also the TxT Izumo Concert. YEEEEY!!!
Wow, the burning process is taking so long and i've already typed a loooot XD will have to check on it now coz it's getting late... ~nu~ni~nu~ni~nu~ni~nu~ni~nu~

YEEEEY!!!
- I've already blogged about Armi's birthday and now wondering what has happened to the DVD... is it already scratched and covered with *drools* from being played over and over again? I can only guess...hahaha
- My youngest sister is going to have her debut party. My Dad just gave his thumbs up for this so now she's so busy burning the phone line making inquiries at hotels. I celebrated my 18th birthday like any other birthdays. Brought cake, ice cream and brownies at the university and got gifts. It was fine with me as I'm a very practical person. Now, with my youngest sister marking her way to adulthood, I am actually happy that she'll be getting a party as she wants one. Preparations for the party is a whole different thing though. I don't know if I could be of any help but my sister once joked that she might need a program hostess for the party and she's quick to add, "You can do it!" 0__o --- BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, is she kidding?! Ok, Li'l sister, if only your guests can take my TxT-tainted thoughts XDDDD You wouldn't want me singing "Happy Birthday to you" in Nihonggo deshou? (not that i know how to coz i dont! haha) or me saying "anyone up for an atsui ero number on the dance floor?!" My parents would definitely bawl over hahahaha... or how about playing the whole Tackey and Tsuba songs on the setlist. MAN, my sister wouldn't be a very happy debutant (coz she's not really a big a fan as i am) but I will be a very happy program hostess ^____^ Oh well, its up to her. Just giving her fair warning in advance hahaha...
- Mari, my co-Japapiefied ofcmate friend has just 'tendered her resignation effective end of the month'. So did Dennis. It is quite sad knowing that we've bonded in the department already. But there comes a point in life where one would have to move on to something else that would be more fulfilling. I hope these two good people would find happiness and contentment in their future endeavors. Now, who will i call on to whenever i get all giddy and giggly on my new Tackey downloads???? I will miss Mari.... and Dennis.... *sniff* *sniff*
- Well the great surprise for the week is Jen's visit yesterday. I came in the office lunchtime and i got an SMS message from Mems telling me to proceed to Starbuck's. And there she was---JEN, our art director for hardly a month. She told us its her birthday and was really surprised that she commuted to Ortigas just to treat us. Well, she's a really nice gal for doing so and we missed her even if her stay was just short. She was actually making fun of my new do (><). Mala-goldilocks daw kasi. Conscious tuloy ako *tsk* *tsk* Well, though I wasn't able to get anything for her coz of so little time, let me just greet her here in my private space a--- HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN!!!! I hope you enjoy your brainstormings with the ojiisans!!! hahahaha *throws you confettis*
- Mems is just walking on cloud nine these days with Mari bringing her to that Joel Torre interview at his inasal place (FYI to those who don't know who Mr. Joel Torre is, he is a very talented Filipino actor. He's really good having been trained from theater and he's got award-winning movies in his credentials. Mems would be so happy to read this! I'm just so sure ^__^.) Anyways, its JT, JT and more JT from Mems since Tuesday. Well, i let her fangirl coz she lets me Tackey, Tackey and Tackey everyday anyways. That only goes to show that birds of the same feather are friends *lol*
- Of course there's TxT Izumo Con reports popping up everywhere. One otherwise 'boggling' report (well, atleast for me) was when Tackey and Tsuba claimed that they have grown up and therefore, would have less hadaka moments. I truly hope they forget that they ever said that coz MAAAAN, TxT without NUGE is like living in a blur XDDD. TxT nuge moments kinda make me focus (mochiron ne, on TxT!) and ok, *swoon like crazy*. That cannot be denied deshou? Any fangirl would want to say hello to tamagos and calvins from time to time, yeah?! XD XD XD Well, OMEDETOU to TxT again. They saw, they came and they conquered Izumo. Another wonderful TxT feat!

let it rain...
I dont like walking under heavy rains, getting wet like i did yesterday morning because of the mere reason that i dont want to bring an umbrella... nakakasira sa porma *lol* so im definitely not talking about the weather. Im just metaphorically saying that peoples' good graces keep coming as this week progresses. Just before i left the office, wonderful, beautiful, kind Les gave me this for keeps. To love and to cherish. In sickness and in health hahaha. She did a review for it and when she's through, she came to the right person~ OH YES SIREE!!! *nods with approval* hehehe.
I dont understand Korean (and im no ace in Japanese either) but i really love listening to this guy's low, soothing voice. I specially liked his 'I DO', 'But I love you' and 'It's Raining' songs on this album. I also liked some others but i have to listen to it again to match the song to the title. Anyways, since he's hitting it big in Asia and i've read that he's done collaboration with HipHop/R&B artist Li'l Kim (of Moulin Rouge theme--- sorry, not a big fan so that's the only song i know where she's in), I would have to say this guy will be bigger next year. He has the moves, the sex appeal, the voice and the talent so Im pretty sure he'd be going (more) places. Going back to the album, here's a series of *burp*-inducing fotos on the fotobooklet...

Ateng, my gaypal *lol* was *heaving* on these photos before and its no wonder hahaha. By the way, since Rain has also done 'I DO' in Japanese, let's see how he fared in Nihonggo shall we? Dozo~
To Les, duo xie ni!!!! Ni zhidao zhe ge hen yao le.... thanks! ^___^
NOTE: wow, 2 consecutive entries with just some hours apart huh? im on a roll hahaha....

mi tomodachi no otanjoubi
Last night we celebrated in advance Armi's birthday which is actually on the 27th. I met Armi when i worked for Mega Publications 4-5 years ago. It was the hype of MG back then and we were the F4-crazed girls who would exchange clips and pictures of our fave Jerry Yan (but later on she shifted to Vic Zhou) No wonder we bonded over ooooohhh-ing and aaaaahhhh-ing while watching 'Love Scar', 'Magic Kitchen', 'Poor Prince', 'Sky of Love', 'God Mars' and all the other F4-related stuff produced then. Together, we busted our salaries on getting best seats on every F4 concert and even eskapo-ed one lunch time to reserve seats for a New Year's concert at Makati (up 'til now, i could never imagine to be that fangirl-crazy again until this TAKIZAWA HIDEAKI came along ^___^). We also scrimp ourselves for those $$$ fotoalbums (i think i have 4 or 5 on my collection kept under a sacred place in my closet hehehe). Lately, we're not able to see each other as often as before coz i've moved to another company hehe but we still remain good friends and we update each other on our personal happenings. We have dinners if our time permit and i even spend some doramarathons over at their place. Her parents think im alien or something for being able to stay up all night and yet, the first to come down for breakfast ^_^ actually, i dun really get proper sleep elsewhere other than my bed, my room. Filipinos call it 'namamahay'. Now, eventhough Tackey is her favorite nihonjin as she knows too well that he is my ichiban, Daniel Wu seem to be keeping her preoccupied these days.
As a good tomodachi, i wanted to give her something i'm sure she'd be happy to have on her special day. So i did a little research. I heard from her sister Candy (who is also a good friend) that she's been looking for this one particular Daniel Wu-starrer movie titled 'Bishounen' (i was quick to know that this is actually a yaoi-movie with Daniel playing a gay cop who falls for Stephen Fung, another cop) since she just saw that film at the recent Cinemanila. It even won an award, i just forgot which one *lol* Well, the scarcity of Hongkong DVDs in Manila is not as bad as Japanese DVDs which is zero (><) demo for something along that genre, hmm... definitely a challenge. Good thing Mari happens to have the very same DVD which she got from HK. It comes with the photobook and an original soundtrack CD---YEEEY!!!! She was an angel to sell it to me at a relatively friendly price so i took a jump at it right away before she changes her mind. You know she's a very big fan of Daniel Wu herself. Even Armi and Candy (later on) kept asking me how I was able to convince her to sell it to me. Would the great Houdini tell the tricks of his trade?! Of course not so i just left them guessing *lol*
I was happy to hear about this movie while we're dining. Armi's eyes filled with enthusiasm and she was giddy when she talked about those *ahem* showering parts hehehe. Funny thing is she doesn't know what's in that customized DITHER's wrapped envelope is yet hehehe. So, i just went along the whole Bishounen talk while trying to look so innocent yes, im good at pretend acting *lol*. Then when dinner is through, Armi started opening our gifts. Mel gave her a red bag with a cat cross-stitched in the middle which she herself did (MEL, watch out for carpal tunnel yo!) and Armi was telling me that she wouldn't want to tear off my wrapper because (either) i poured effort into making it OR because all our fave boys are printed on it *lol* Well, she just *snip* *cut* on the scotch tapes and stopped in the middle when she saw the envelope. She said she doesn't want to open it anymore just to tease me but she was like O___O *jaw dropped* when she opened the envelope and i was laughing the whole time. There she was chatting away about how Daniel is like with Stephen Fung in the movie, how more ladies came to watch it, how she wanted to closed the movie curtains coz she's too selfish to share Daniel to the rest of the viewers and now she's holding onto the DVD. Ooooh, its just priceless to see her like that. I know she liked it a lot and im truly happy.
What made me happier was that Mel gave us gifts too coz she said it was for the birthday that she missed last year. Look what she got for me (NOTE: the background is part of the wrapper i made for Armi's gift. How many Tackeys and Tsubas can you spot?! haha) >>>

On your left is the 2nd vol of 'Hana Yori Dango' (which springs interest in me again as I've seen the clip of the NEW 'Hana Yori Dango' where MatsuJun plays Domyouji and Oguri Shun as Rui). On the right is the armband made again by Mel herself. I wasn't joking when I warned her of carpal tunnel you know ^^ but nevertheless, i love 'em. Oh all these gift-giving and its not Christmas yet XD
Speaking of which, i had a quick stop at Nere-chan's and read about what Tsuba got from Tackey on his birthday.... it was a 21" LCD TV! *whistles* WOW! But you know Tackey, like what Armi said to me on keitai, your presence would be more than enough. I guess more than the TV, you would HAVE to make up for it in some other *ahem* means I hope ^___^

jampacked!
This week i have been busy on a project. Working on this mini-magazine which would go regional (Asia). My ofcmates were actually telling me to put in a hidden message to Tackey in case copies would reach Japan shores.... hahahaha, veeery nice idea but i dun have the technology to do that YET *lol* besides, its as if i'd have the time to be contemplating on that and AS IF Tackey would care to read that minimag about personal hygiene with his very hectic sched But i am so glad to have finished the initial layouts with my mates this week and im sure they're heaving sighs of relief too. The client pretty much liked them as my boss' says so and they will be sent abroad for approval (i hope there wouldn't be much revisions anymore). Anyways, with that project partly done, I capped my week off by going to this mag launch last night >
I dun often go to these social events as most of them truly bore me to death but since my bestfriend is the Art Director and I know how much important our presence is there, we headed off to Makati to give her our support. Of course, Mems insisted that we have our makeup done so as we wouldn't look so much like the 'alalays' or the househelp at the event *lol* With all the beautiful peeps in their full 'French with a twist' attires there and all those models strutting their stuff around, i no longer thought twice. We really need the help so help we get. I let KAT MANALO, a reknowned makeup artist/stylist in the business mind you (@ KAT, pwede na bang endorser? naks!!!) to do her magic on me and she just came in from a shoot which means she's got all her weapons with her--- makeups, concealers, brushes and all those things that would make you break into a song... ~ i feel pretty ~ oh soooo preeetty ~ i feel pretty and witty and bright ~ hahahaha. In between the makeup and SMS-ing my other friends, I got a message from Jen (my bestfriend) to come soon coz the program is about to start. Of course, that's another way of saying that we have to really rush. I had a quick check on the mirror before we go. Kat did wonders as always hahahaha. demo majime ni, HONTOU NI DOMO ARIGATOU MS. KAT MANALO, i really felt like singing last night ^___^
At a quarter past 8pm, I arrived at the venue with Erly and Mems. Went in to find 'Imeldific' Jenny fully made up. She was looking good in her newly-purchased, wise-buy dress and shoes and her hair up in a bun (kewpie-fied bun as i also had my hair in kewpie-fied half ponytail *lol* dont ask anymore where i got the term haha). She was busy going around with the Marie Claire staff. We missed Mishka Adams perform which is bad coz i have heard that she's good and i want to hear her sing but we came in time for the intro part. Then the fashion show which featured different cuts by Hindy Tantoco-Weber, Lulu Tan-Gan, Kate Torralba and the likes. Luis, Rhio and friend already greeted us when they arrived then went around. We opted to hang out near the buffet table where food and wine were served yes, it boils down to the food hahahahaha. Mems seemed to have taken notes of which pica-pica is good and not (i found out later after the event *lol*) We weren't able to get our loot bags but there WAS one cute dude hanging around near the sign in table. Erly and mostly I were somehow gawking from across the floor. It may be because the dude is such a bishie with his hair up (yes, kewpie-fied too) and his short ponytail sticking out at the back. KAKKKKOOIIIII!!!! He looked part Japanese but Erly insists up 'til now (she just SMS-ed me) that the dude looked like this guy TORO who i think is Taiwanese. OK Erly, i have to admit that he does look like Toro too. I never said he didn't in the first place ---xiancai, hao le?! hehehehe...
After the event, Rhio went to this gig with his friend but promised to catch up on us later. Mems was fetched by her sister. Luis, Jen, Erly and I went to get some more food (yes, we're pigs that's why we're friends hehe) at Brother's Burgers and we bumped into Henry and Lee from college. The last time i've seen them was around the same area for another magazine event last August (?) so I let the others talk since they haven't seen Henry (he's part of the barkada) for a longer time. They talked about his work at McCann and his band and reminisced some on college life as we would often do. He seem to be doing great which is good. He was actually with his team mates from the agency. I guessed he loved what he does there that's why he's been there for the longest time. I'm actually happy for him. After a few chitchats, he bid us that he'd go ahead back to the office (i have a feeling that all of us are a bunch of workaholics now). Then Rhio came back and we went to Metrowalk at Ortigas hopefully to get more chomps hahaha Ate at Icebergs then headed next to YAHOO! bbq place (ok we're not pigs, we are HOGS on the loose hahaha) which is nearby. Tested the infamous barbeques which are so-so to my tastebuds but continuously munch on the few meatbits on my stick. While there, we were even unfortunate enough to witness a car accident which happened very quickly near the place. Good thing that the driver (some teen who either fell asleep driving or was racing with a PUJ across Ortigas ave.) seem to be ok even if his car was really in bad shape. It was turned side up that he has to come out from the window at the top *tsk* *tsk* We left the place with all the uzis still oggling on what happened. We were actually extra cautious going home with Rhio driving, Luis on the passenger seat and the 3 of us girls at the backseats looking every so often at approaching cars. Rhio said we're making him more nervous doing that so we stopped. The last thing we wanted right then is an agitated designated driver right?! well, I arrived home safely and happily at 5am. Soon enough before my mom woke up hehehehe
Finally, this entry is ALMOST over. You didn't think i'd pass up on talking about TxT deshou? Of course NOT! So on another end of my brain waves, although i haven't been a very active fangirl these days, I have marked today, October 22, on my keitai calendar coz it is TxT Izumo Con. There were 2 concerts scheduled today so it is taihen for Tackey (after his taiga shoot has wrapped up) and Tsuba (having his ongoing solocon interlap with this) but im sure they gave another 110% on this and they probably talked about Tsuba's birthday on the MC talk segment. AAAAAHHHHH I WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!!! WHAT GIFT DID TSUBA GET FROM AIKATA TACKEY? WHAT SURPRISE DID TACKEY GIVE TO TSUBA? WHAT'S ON THEIR CON SETLIST? DID TACKEY SAY ANYTHING ABOUT TSUBA'S ERO NUMBER? DID HE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT THEN??? or IS HE PLANNING SOMETHING TO COUNTER THAT ON HIS OWN CON??? oh i really hope so *winks* ^____^ . Well, I'll be sure to hear/read more about it come Monday as I plan to get some rest the whole day tomorrow. I hope the TxT battery will be fully-recharged by then but for now ja ne!

mondayititis ><
You know how i feel about Mondays deshou? uberlazy..... unfriendly.... uberlazy.... crabby.... uberlazy.... evil.... uberlazy *lol* Well although i just had a brush of badluck or bad chances with today's Monday (came in late for a morning deadline coz my keitai which i set to alarm at 6:30am turned itself off in the middle of the night; my wish to stay far, far away from the office as possible did not happen coz of another deadline which tied me to the office instead; i just had a quick lunch over at Sushiya's and i can still feel pangs of hunger though work seem to keep me all busy and I just lose my appetite over it; this one layout which i promised to a stylist-friend for her setcard wasn't anywhere in my desktop just in time when she comes to pick it up. Im afraid one of my mates at work accidentally deleted it but I dun want to point an accusing finger at anyone; i have to re-do it in the process after pouring some hours off work just to finish it; and very recent happening, the entry which i should be posting here was ZAPPED OUT to nothingness when my browser just closed on me and there is no way to retrieve my original post but just re-type all my thoughts again. If that isn't me and the bad things Monday brings, I don't know what you'd call it *sigh*) Anyways, if there is one good feeling that would make this Monday more gratifying that what it is, it's that 'someone' is happily celebrating his birthday. And eventhough this someone may be busily preparing for his con elsewhere in Japan and he may not come to read this entry nor visit this blog, I would want to greet him the same >>>
Tsuba-chan, here's wishing you more happiness and success in the future!

I'm having my usual insomniac attacks again these days and the rings around my eyes are getting darker and darker *sigh* i used to think that i wouldn't get eyebags before coz i have (a bit) chinky eyes and it would only go chinkier if i dont get enough sleep but nooo, now there were eyebags. I wonder if concealers could still do the trick *in thoughts* This is bad. Real bad. I ought to follow my old sleeping regimen. Sleep at 11pm or earlier. But with my sched at work, thats impossible to follow. I get home at 11pm! And when i do get home, i have to have dinner still and watch a l'il TV (ok, a lot! haha) or get online or read a book or clean my closet. My mind seem to be at work even after 12mn *sigh* Now, i always have to wear my rimmed-glasses to work even if its only anti-glare (so i wont get eye fatigue easily from the computer) coz i have to hide the evidence of bad-sleeping habits haha.
*tsk* *tsk* eyebags. waruiiiii *sigh*. tomodachis, never ever adapt a bat's lifestyle specially when you're not a bat (and i still find humor in this?) hahahaha... by the way, I was busy channelsurfing and checking out what's on at 1am last Sunday and found one that sent shock to my spines. I may be overexaggerating, i know but believe me, watching it has shock value hahaha. If you dun believe me, check this out >>>
I've heard about it, 'tis true. As it has been pass on from mouth to mouth, blog to blog *lol* and it could even be one of Benkei-san's 'urban legends' but never in my dreams would i imagine i'd see with my own two (eyebag-infested) eyes---- the MATSUKEN SAMBA *ROFL* Gomen to the Japanese populace who happen to dig this but I'm not a big fan of samba. Moreso of Matsudaira Ken in shining, shimmery yutaka waving a stick. It's actually a scary sight for me. Besides, Matsudaira Ken strikes me as a gentle giant as he is in Yoshitsune. A very reserve person. A man of few words. But i was deceived hahahahaha Well, no wonder i was marching in to the office zombie-fied last Monday. Why do i have to see that after YOSHI has wrapped up?! *disturbed* I have come to love trusty, 'ol Benkei-san already *tsk* *tsk* ^_____^

when it rains, it pours
Lately, the weather's been bad these days. Its been raining so i always bring with me my reliable applegreen umbrella (MAKI and ZASHI, our inupets, had fun taking turns on chewing on its leather handle... dame!) This morning as i prepare to meet up with my tsinoy buds, i was surprised to find the highways flooded!!! And it's not raining hard yet. I fear i have to walk in knee-high boots next time a typhoon hit the area or should i learn to swim then?! *shakes head* HELLOOO DEPT OF LOCAL GOV and DEPT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS!!!!! are we sleeping on the job there eh??? People pay taxes not to walk on flooded streets yo!!! WAKE UP!!! WAKE UUUUUP!!!!!! *shakes head all the more*
On another 'RAIN'-y note (and this is a more positive one), im just sooo happy and excited that Sann got me this and handed it to me today >
I got a call from her yesterday at the office and she was around Quiapo so she asked me if i want this (I know it's not an original but hell, sumimasen deshita to anti-piracy laws...if its there better grab it ne~ ^_^ ) AWWWW, isn't she thoughtful?! I'm just too elated but i have to keep my tone down and get out of the office to talk to her while excitement jiggles in my veins. RAIN/Bi is just one of those Korean guys im crazy about. To think, i thought people who liked him before were blind or something coz let's face it, sometimes i cant help noticing the man's flaring nostrils yo but soon enough i discovered his charms and hot dancing prowess. Those just enough to outdo the funny facial feature. Besides, he's got a real cool voice and should i start with the sizzlin' physique?! Erly and I are just two drooling women on the loose when we begin talking about him. Thank God for Bi that we have a common object of interest so when stalking time comes, we could depend on each other to be there. kedo gomen ne erly, cant really go with you on 183 coz you know my types hehehe. just gambarou for Sam okies?! go! go! go! dun worry about this, i'll let you borrow ^^ Anyways, i might just be able to scan the DVD but reserve watching it some other day. Need to get me some good sleep tonight.
Now you guys don't go squeaking on me to Tackey. Tackey knows he'll always be my ichiban. Sabi nga ni Cindy, masarap magkimchee paminsan-minsan hehehehe And yes, Ochie did give me THAT Tsuba goody i was expecting to get. Ariga *chu*

mind-boggler
Was checking out my friend Anne's LJ and came across this quizilla. I normally dont do these quizillas but what the heck, im feeling down today for not being able to go home for 'Haru to Natsu' which i was so psyched about this morning. I guess, i have to catch it on Saturdays then but i really would have to 'peel' myself off bed at 8am! NYYYYYYaaarrrrr!!!!
Well i took this test about inner power and stuff and was surprised at the result that i re-answered the list but it gives me same result (did that 5x haha) HORA, check MY inner power *lol* >>>

(OOOh nice drawing, the lady swimming in her lingerie in the middle of the night. You sure its EMPATHY not WARMTH? hehehe) moving on with my mind-boggling result...
Empathy- Your inner power is Empathy! This means that you have a talent for identifying others emotions, often by simply glancing at them. You are EXTREMELY shy and quiet (atashi??? EXTREMELY shy and quiet??? nani kore?! shenanigans!!! shenanigans!!! *lol*) . People sometimes dont notice youre around and seem surprised to find out you even exist in a big class (*scratches head*). Youre the often silent (???), goody two shoes (????????), and few get passed the walls you've built up to stop yourself being hurt (????????????), as you no doubt have been in the past. Not everyone understands you, in fact some think that you're a snob or worse because you rarely participate in group activities (but...but...but i love group activities. I often join the TRIP TO JERUSALEM games when i was a kid). Youre extremely sensitive, even the least harsh of words can hurt you (i've been called names and i dont give a damn... ). Only your very few, closest friends who have earned your hard-to-get trust know who you really are inside; a sweet, gentle young woman who is lonely and so desperately needing friends to support you (really???!!! O,o). You can get very depressed and not always know why, despite your power of empathy, as it seems to only work for people outside you (hey that's not fair!). Your friends always turn to you when they need advice or comforting, and in some way you need to give that help it makes you feel better in return to know that youve helped out your friends. Despite your cold, impassive exterior and high, seemingly unbreachable walls, inside you are really a great, intelligent person, full of compassion and love (this part starting from 'great, intelligent person...' soooo true hahahahahahaha), if only people would dare take a chance and try to get through your tough shell (hey, im no chick?! what shell you talkin' about? *lol* ). Never let others get you down, or change you. You are very special the way you are even if you dont have fifty thousand friends, you are just as, if not more extraordinary than everyone else (you mean i'm a 'special child' with 'special needs'??? how'd you know???!!! you're good Quizilla. You're good *nods head with approval* ). Reach for the stars, because I dont doubt you'll catch hold of them (ermm..i have a particular jpop 'star' in mind i'd like to reach. Would i catch hold of him?!!!! C'MON QUIZILLA GIVE ME AN ANSWER!!!!---ooops, QUIZilla, i got it...hehe).
Boy who will sweep you off your feet: A sweet, shy and romantic man. The kind of guy you know will never, ever hurt you, and will love you for ever. The kind of person who believes in true love, and soul mates. (oh please TACKEY, belieeeve in true love and soulmates. PLLLLEAAASEEEE... i know you're not shy but i think you're sweet and romantic... *baka* me HAHAHAHA)
Your stone: Blue Topaz
Your power: Healing. Emotionally, physically, or spiritually, you heal people with your words, your actions and presence. Youre the one that the little children are always drawn to, because they know youll never let anything hurt them. (oh i thought it's because of the candies and all the kiddie stuff i bribe them with *lol*)
Your element: Clairvoyance (The power to see objects or events that cannot be perceived by the normal five senses) (ok, this one scares me *YAY!*)
A quote that applies to you: "True beauty shines from the soul and warms the world with its kindness, compassion , and integrity."
So what do you guys think? Should i take that test again or never take any Quizzila test ever again?! Ok, will not bookmark that Quizilla URL in my computer... *LOL*
Ahhh, my beloved Friday is here again ^____^ SWEEEEET *jumps for joy*

'arf!'

I'm currently watching THE HAKKENDEN care of some good soul i happen to stumble into. Im on the 2nd episode. This is where the Shino intro parts come in. WHOOOPEEE! I had a quick look at it and saw that Hamaji (who would later become Shino's wife) is actually Shino's childhood friend. On the anime, Hamaji looks so naive and erm... nice. I suddenly feel bad knowing of her demise on latter episode. Anyways, i hope that THE Hamaji on live-action (yes, Ms. AYASE, im talking about you O_o), would be as nice as not to do any hanky-panky (im not snappin' out of this infantile behaviour just yet hehe) Better keep those hands where we can see them ^__^.
In line with this, Nere-chan just posted at her site the actors who would play the 8-dog samurai brothers. It's quite an interesting cast so im hoping, praying, novena-ing for another good soul to upload it once it's shown on TBS early January next year. We will be expecting at the least (i hope), 60% of Tackey scenes in here as Shino (the character he plays) would be the key character that would cross the other 7 samurais' paths. Im excited to see this and more excited to see what Tackey project will come after this (romcom we hope ne Yvie-chan? let's pray? *lol*).
On another note, Tsuba's 'Haru To Natsu Todokanakatta Tegami' dorama started airing last October 2 when i was just having a hard time on my heels walking around Shangri-la Makati Hotel (my friend's wedding reception). I wasn't able to catch it yesterday as im still at work. Let's see if i could tonight. Last time i saw Tsuba on a full dorama was on 'Summer Snow'. I hope that by the 8th, Ochie would be bringing me more Tsuba goodness. Well, gotta finish up here to be able to catch that. CIAO! ^^

queueing for cine europa
So where was I for the past non-blogging days? Well, aside from getting busy for that friend's wedding (which was celebrated yesterday. finally! *whew*), i've been seriously lining up for this >

I know that this whole scene is funny as this ojiisan who came from America was explaining to the soldier and another ojiisan about how Japanese people lack certain expressions which Americans use so wantonly. So he teaches them how to curse with conviction hehe. Thus, the swear word at the last frame *lol* BUT aside from that, my friends were actually shooting me with funny looks as they know about my 'fascination' with certain Japanese men. They got the notion that i would go for ANYBODY who says 'konnichiwa!' 'moshi! moshi!' and i would always point out that i only go ga-ga for a 'distinct' Japanese bishie (if you still dun know, you must be living under a rock or in the depths of some cave in the Himalayas ^^) . Anyways, they were also giggling at the thought that even if we're watching European movies, Japanese-related stuff would always come up as if to haunt me (not that i dun't want to--- oh please hunt me nihon no koto *ROFL*!!! that invitation's only open for all the good Japanese-related stuff, Sadako and Yakuza not included hehe ) Going back to the movie, i enjoyed it though it felt like i was in there for more than 3 hours. I cant blame my friend Mems as she snoozed away *lol*

Cine Europa is a yearly thing where we get to see European movies ('art films') for free. Aren't we glad that at this age and time, there are still good things we get for free? If only we know where to find them. Anyways, it's free alright but better queue for the line 2-3 hours before the screening time for those much coveted tickets! You know they're gone in a flash (suddenly, my mind drifts on Tackey solocon tickets --- im sure it'll sell fast so i wish BON-chan and all the others get their hands on those tics soon enough *crosses fingers*) Well, first night we attempted to watch was last Thursday but the movies that we're lined up did not really appeal to me so we ended up going to an acquaintance's launch of her franchised brand from Australia which was happening at the same venue hehe.
Next day, Friday, i was rushing out of the office to catch 'L' Auberge Espagnole' or 'The Spanish Apartment' from France scheduled screening at 7pm. I've heard good reviews and i read the plot so i really wanted to see it. Unfortunately, no matter how much i and my friends puffed and huffed, we weren't able to make it on time coz of the traffic so we opted for the 10pm screening of this movie from Czech Republic titled 'Knoflikari' (Buttoners). It has 6 stories of different people, different situations woven to connect each other's story. My friends were secretly grinning when we got to these scenes (taken from my trusty keitai *lol*) >

Saturday, amidst the whole last minute shopping for stuff before Sunday, i was psyched to see the 10pm movie from Netherlands titled 'Liever verfliefd' (I Love to Love) but was lucky enough to squeeze in for that 7pm movie titled 'Kroko' from Germany. 'Kroko' is about a girl who i swear, looks like Jodie Foster gone bad. She has been so bad as to ran over a man while driving a carnapped car (well, its not actually carnapped as the guy who owns the car was just at the backseats and seem to have been overpowered by the chick-thugs). Well, she served her time at some house for the mentally and physically unwell. She later finds herself enjoying the company of the people there more than her own baddies. And at the end, pushes through the plan of becoming a cop. Hmmm... so-so plot but when you see the piercing look in KROKO's eyes, you'd wish to be out of her way as she radiates evvviiillll.
Now, 'I LOVE TO LOVE' is one movie that fits my liking. Light-hearted, warm and really funny. Plot is usual but watching the actors in it is kinda refreshing. The story is about Anna who got her heart broken by this cassanova named Derk. To avenge herself, she says she'll be like a man and play with other peoples' feelings. So it goes when she met two guys who are extremely infatuated with her. One is a sensitive, romantic pianist while the other is the sexy, blonde hunk. She went along the whole plan of dating the 2 at the same time until it got to the point that she herself cannot control her feelings anymore and fell in love with the two. Poor girl sunk deeper when the two happens to be flatmates (best buds too!) and they decided to propose at the same night! It's really funny how Anna dodges meeting the 'other' guy while she spends time with the guy-at-the-moment. They say all good things come to an end but this one movie didn't end as horrible as any REAL lovetriangle story would. Anna went to Polynesia and got herself two husbands ---- lucky girl!!! And lucky me as i really enjoyed watching that.
Let me see what i'd catch come EIGA SAI time. The last EIGA SAI featured horror flicks which i try to stay away from after having bad dreams of Sadako coming out from my tv screen as i creep downstairs in the middle of the night (either for getting myself a drink or having drank too much *lol*) I hope there'd be good, amusing ones next year.
