nothing in particular
Long weekend went *pffffft* just like that. I wished it was longer. Managed to do some things as planned but still no 'Bishounen' viewing yet with Armi, Candy & Mel as something came up at their end (but cheer up SNUFFLES-chan, i hope to be able to give you a good review on this ok?! Come to think of it, the last movie i watched with a tinge of similarity to this one was 'Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN' XD all the others liked Gael Garcia but somehow Diego Luna caught my eye XD let us see if its gonna be Daniel Wu or Stephen Fung for me this time around... ). The overdelayed gift for Pucci's still with me coz she's been really busy. But went out with Erly and Tala and toured the 'new' Cubao. Yes, the place of my childhood resorts. It was fascinating to see Cubao's rebirth. I say its not that bad. Now Cubao is getting livelier and busier with all the people coming from everywhere just to check the new Gateway mall. I just missed C.O.D specially around this time of the year. When i was little, my parents would bring us to watch the Christmas puppet presentation at C.O.D's facade's roof. I dun care if my neck hurts as long as i could watch (often lounging on my Dad's shoulders XD Poor otosan *tsk*). Later on, i just realized that i've been seeing the same thing over and over for years. Good thing it's for free haha Before we left, we just have to drop by 'Bellini's' which Jen has been raving about. It's an Italian resto at the Marikina Shoe Expo which serves delicious pasta and pizza. I give them 2 thumbs up for the food and the price. Next time i go, i'm sure to drop by there again.
Im also trying to finish this book which i got my hands on. It's my sister's but i saw it lying around the house recently so read it 'til i get sleepy at nights (or morning). I'm on the early chapters and it gets interesting. Religion and Science does mix well in this book by Dan Brown though i do get lost in some of his sciences and maths XDDDD I plan to do some more sneeking in my sister's room to read the following chapters as we are reading this simultaneously. Her bedtime just happens to be earlier than mine so i think i would be able to catch up on her readings *lol* After this, i'd probably look into the author's 'The DA VINCI CODE' so i'll have a background before the movie is shown in the local theatres. Well, that is if i get to catch it.
So its back to work. Ho-hum Tuesdays. Had some time to go online. Even took this funny quiz (nope it's not quizilla) which i answered before i posted this entry. The premise is if you were to have a Johnnys dorama, here are the Johnnys cast to star in it with you. Using my real name, my result just made me smile.... a big toothy smile..... XD
If this is true and my boss is Tackey, i'd be spending my weekends and holidays at work!!!! I may be dying of overwork (refer to the Climax of the Dorama) but atleast i get to marry the boss *wink* *wink* Nice finale dun yah think?! COSMIC i must add. Oh my mind is just so Tackey-fried right now.... hahaha

heya! suki din kami before ng C.O.D.! we must have bumped into each other then while watching the christmas show although we just didn't know each other yet.
ey, i've heard people rave about bellini's a number of times. i hope i get to try it there. :)
the malls here are starting to play christmas songs too and have christmas decorations although nothing beats the festivity of christmas in the philippines. if not for the christmas music and A FEW decors, you'd think it's actually summer her. The weather is still as hot as in the summer.
Grabe, di mo pa pala nababasa "Da Vinci Code". Me, I haven't read Angels and Demons although I'm not sure if I'm going to read it at all. "Da Vinci Code" is interesting. I'm not a big fan though but it's worth reading. :)
Halos lahat naman tayo yata C.O.D kids haha. Dun worry, i'll take you to Bellini's on your visit ^_~ but you have to remind me coz i dun know your itenerary...
I was intending to read 'DA VINCI CODE' first. Nakapila na nga ako kay Jen coz she has it pero nauna si 'Angels and Demons'. oh well...

Hi cindz AKA Ang Dakilang Movie Fan!
Of course, was a COD kid din. Plus Cindy's sa Aurora Blvd at Gregg Shoes sa Cubao. And National Bookstore with an ukay-ukay of books sa 5th Floor! I'm a Cubao kid forever. Mas dun kaysa Sta. Lucia o Metro East. And now it's starting to be a hip place again, thanks to artsy-fartsy-geeky stores sa Marikina Shoe Expo at Gateway (out of place pero at least magandang tanawin).
And you're supposed to read "Angels and Demons" before "The Da Vinci Code." Yun ang first novel starrring Robert Langdon and it's set in the Vatican naman. I've read Da Vinci in three days. Ganun siya ka cliffhanger-ish. Can't wait for the movie, although Tom Hanks isn't worthy to be Langdon kasi mas Harrison Ford ang description nya.
Hope you're "working!" Ang saya-saya sa office nyo, ha. And yes Tackey looks good while he's slippery and wet hehe.

You know Cubao so well. Ako siguro malo-lost pa rin kaya huwag mo akong ilalayo sa Aurora blvd hahaha o Isetann haha. Naaalala mo pa ba ang Mango Brutus sa Alimall??? Yun lang ang memory ko sa Alimall kasi my younger sister used to go there to play at the merry-go-round na mga ulo ng mascots. Baby pa siya nun at Sunday tambayan namin ng family... you know HAHAHAHAHA. Sa SM naman, ang pinakafondest memory ko ay yung HA YUAN sa foodcourt. Favorite ko talaga maki mi noodles. Now, the only HA YUAN i know is at Binondo. Ang laaaayo :( Shocked rin ako at maraming conios sa GATEWAY ha. So marami palang nagtatagong conios sa Cubao.. hmmmm, pero tama ka, maganda naman ang tanawin ^_^
So im doing it right eh? Reading A&D first than DVC? Meron bang significance sa story ang chronology nito or its just as you said? Im still on that chapter since my post kasi si te-ats ayaw bitawan yung book. Kahit pagtulog. Pinagbibigyan ko na ang nakakatanda hehehehe *evil* I'm on the early chapters still so i cant say kung kay HANKS ako o kay Ford.
