What a Friday! *whew* Just had a shoot with a celebrity family yesterday. Celebrity dad, although he's not included in the fotoshoot, was just there to give moral support and help which later on proved to be very, very, very handy. Celebrity mom was ok. Although she was said to be having a diva mentality in the morning coz the whole staff was too busy working on props and other stuff and no one seem to fuss over her. Celebrity chibi girl was really prim and proper. Very pretty girl and very polite too. But the greatest hurdle of all---- celebrity chibi boy. Very cute actually but he has once again reminded me of the horrors moms say of having (terrible) 2-yr olds. Like he's on sugar rush every minute, every second. It doesn't helped that the parents allow him to drink Coke when he gets thirsty IIIIYAAAAAYYYY! I pity the yaya who has to go around, chase him and get kicked, slapped and scratched after. I hope celebrity mom pays her well. After 5 hot sweltering hours, the shoot ended and though we felt like jumping for joy, we all seem to have lost the energy. I am just praying that when Jun (the fotographer) hands me the fotos on Monday, I will be able to have enough good fotos to choose from. I'm crossing my fingers coz i dont want to go through THAT again. Pleeease nooooo...

From there we headed to a videoke bar to celebrate my boss' belated birthday. Was not really up for it but Im quite hungry. Not that we are deprived of food from the shoot coz one of the things i like about shoots, there is always food aplenty--- YAY! Just that, I seem to take out on food when I get so stressed or that chibi boy sure zapped out the energy in me that I need to eat more and more. Surprisingly, when I got to the place, it really didn't take long for me to warm up to the mic *lol* Normally, I would beg off from singing and it would really take a lot of prodding from the others just to ask me sing with co-workers but I think I've been generous last night coz I was belting it out even if I wasn't really holding the mic hahahahaha. Good thing, I didn't get drunk or things would get uglier coz Im starting to shake my booty---kowaiiii XDDDDD Well, atleast I got to discover a few things from my workmates--- Bong is a videoke king. The guy can go ballad to 80's rock and he would never stop *lol*. Ateng could give T.A.F.K.A.P (The Artist formerly known as Prince XD) a run for his money coz he could becha-by-golly-wow you even while he is sitting hehehehe. Maxi (a.k.a Sunshine hahahaha) really has a great voice. I know she is in a band but I missed listening to her when I wasn't able to go to her band's gig 2 weekends ago. Abby's voice is ideal for theatre. Even the others think so. Patricia knows how to sing 'LAKLAK' with garalgal voice haha. Cleone can very well claim the "dancing queen" title coz she was in a dancing mood last night. My boss likes Bon Jovi a loooot *gulps* It doesnt take much alcohol to ask Kamil, Bubbles, Sonee, Alona to sing. Just keep the alcohol away from Jonas coz he already acts drunk without a drop of it (JONAS, (^_^)v). Mems and I are still crazy outside the office. I think we are crazier outside the office hahahaha

Before I go, I just want to say 'MOMENTS OF LOVE' movie is another proof of Filipinos' lack of originality. No, i haven't seen the movie but I just saw the trailer on tv as I type. Watching the trailer, I already have an idea of the plot. It seems that 'IL MARE', 'SKY of LOVE', 'AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER' are only a few of the movies they may have adapted this from. Weird that the way they plug it on tv, its like its a breakthrough thing or something when it is not. Ok, this rant might just boil down to the fact tha I am just not a big fan of Dingdong Dantes. Gomen nasai ANNE-chan, kare ga kimi no otouto no tomodachi wakaru. But I would settle for him if I would have to pick out a few actors of his batch. I know he is more talented than most actors we have right now. It's disheartening.

I just get irked by copycats.

enbujou incident

Busy.... busy.... busy days. I just managed to go round friends' blogs to check on what's been happening to Tackey these days. So Tackey fangals know of the fire that happened recently in Enbujou. That the show was cancelled and all. After the apologies and ticket refunds, the good news is Enbujou will continue and what a sigh of relief it was. Well, next from the fact that Tackey was unharmed and safe from the accident. Only a few days ago when Tackey was saying how critical the acrobatic choreography is, how it would be crucial to miss in timing and how physically tasking everything goes. All of these points to one thing: TACKEY truly prepared for this and he is willing to go through it all just to give minna a darn good show. Another proof of how Tackey takes his work seriously. Sometimes, I think too seriously for his own good. That is why I cant help but feel bad about hearing some people putting the blame on him when this fire incident happened. I just find this completely illogical coz accidents are not intended to happen (that's why they are called 'accidents' in the first place). Tackey has apologized already for what has happened. One for being the lead of the musicale, the responsibility fell on him to do so. Another is that he really is concerned about what has happened to the others. He must have worried for them. But I think the problem with saying sorry or asking an apology sometimes is that its gonna pin you as the person at fault eventhough your intention is only to extend empathy. I am just glad that the situation didn't get worse coz that spared Tackey of further taking in more blames and hurts. I hope he'll be unfazed by this and continue on with the shows with a very clear head and strong body *winks* --- YAAAAAAYYY ENBUJOU WILL RESUME!!! ^___^

For Natalie Portman, 'V' may be for 'Vendetta' but for me, 'V' is for 'VERTIGO' *lol*. Getting dizzy is one of my weaknesses/flaws. I ought not to SMS or read in a moving car or whatever means of transport or I would have to take a bed rest after in a darkened room to regain my 'normality' back. This I gotta do while sniffing on Vicks or Icy Hot (yes, i am a menthol-addict XD). Just a few days ago, I had a headache which I point to my computer as the culprit. Maybe my eyes are so used to my LCD monitor before (though the colors are brighter on it) that the change of monitor kinda caused my eyes to strain. Now, im back to my geeky glasses. The one with thick rims for that anti-glare thing. I really dont have a serious eye problem but just for the heck of it, I got myself this pair since I spend too much time on the computer. Now, this glasses prove to be very helpful...aside from concealing the eyebags I get from insomnia.

Anyways, to ISABELLE, Im listening to 'LONG ROAD' now. Kinda reminds me of some NEWS song. Well, SANKYYYYUUUUU~~~ thanks very much for the belated holiday greetings too. You know if the weather there is cold, its just the opposite here. The heat is on and Im just about to hit any pool/beach soon. I hope that you would enjoy your break despite the samui weather and get to enjoy the places you've never been before or those places you really want to go to (that is before your money runs out XDDDD). Goodluck in your future plans and goodluck to us in our TxT-related plans. There goes my open letter to my prize adjudicator *lol*

I'm loving youtube these days. I get to see those Tackey, Tsubasa, TxT clips that weren't in my collection yet. Oh all those TxT glorious junior days *lol* Although my computer has no audio-video lock (as most ad agency people call them XD), I still get along fine. I just stumbled into this clip spoofing 'MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA' last Friday. Me and Shine were practically rolling on the floor watching it. It was really funny at first but the latter parts not as funny anymore. Anyways, I love the bit parts when the crazy geisha did the Sayuri dance with the sakuras and the lighting effects XDDDD and also the part how he/she made the guy on the bicycle stop at his/her one glance XDDDD Here it is if you guys are interested. Just look at how the geisha looked. OMGoodness!!!! *ROOOOFL*

I dont know if you guys go for some slapsticks but I, often than not, enjoy Adam Sandler movies though I haven't gotten to a point of wanting to marry him. I think MEMS is more interested *lol*. The project I'm working on now is 80% finished and despite the very tight schedule and stress me and my mates have gone through, we all get our consolations ^_~ Mine just happen to be this cutie --->

We were actually trying to make this cutie smile for the camera coz we want to catch a happy baby in a bubble bath. She just stared like that on first pic for some good 10mins. Cant really blame the bebe coz its her naptime already. And everyone was ga-ga-goo-goo-ing, clapping, making a fool of ourselves gurgling and mouthing all the baby gibberish behind the camera so we could finally call it a day then her eyes shifted on me *gulps* P-R-E-S-S-U-R-E ... So fotog Ocs made me the point person and I have to do all these funny faces since she was staring at me. Good thing that I dont have to come to the extreme of doing a sommersault coz she just smiled after a few minutes so cometh the second pic. I dont know if it was a good thing that she smiled at my expense--- my foolish exhibition infront of a roomful of people but I always have an affinity with babies. Either I think like one (hahaha XD) or I look like Barney *chuckles but really getting conscious* XDDDD

Speaking of babies, Maan (and I think NERE-chan) mentioned that our maternal instinct is on play worrying for Tackey on his first Enbujou today. I guess most fangals would coz Tackey is putting all his efforts on this at the moment and there is nothing we could wish more but pray that its gonna be a success all the way. YOSSSHHHHHA!!!!

EGAD!!! CAN I JUST DIE OF EMBARRASSMENT???? SHIIIIIIT! *lol* I was scanning some TxT pictures from the fotobook last night and saved them on my desktop. I used thumbnails of the files for icons so I could easily identify them. Then in the middle of scanning those pictures, I remember that I have to burn a DVD copy of something for my mom so being a G5 newbie, I have to ask a workmate to show me how to burn 'em. I was thinking that its ok coz I have the whole desktop covered with all my open applications but then the DVD cannot be read so my male workmate closed all open windows to check if the DVD was actually mounted..... SHHHHIIIITTTT, he was able to see all those nuge Tackey and Tsubasa on my desktop because of the thumbnails and I know that he SAW them coz he was like *pause* and get distracted while he's trying to continously explain the DVD burning thing to me..... SHHHHHIIIIIITTTTT!!! I hope he didn't notice that I was actually melting on my seat while talking nonchalantly. GAWD, what would become to Ms. Naivette, Ms. No-Malice me???? hahahahahahahahaha Seriously, that was really scary. My fingers are still cold as I type. So now, I try to look really deadpan whenever I see him.....NYAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

Unfortunately CINDY, that's just about it. How Id wish there'd be more but that's it for Tackey. Para di naman sabihing masyado tayong sukebe dito, I would have to say I love those casa pics too. Even with ruffles and the floral prints, TxT still managed to look hot, hot, hot. I just noticed something after I have gone over the fotobook again....

Extremes deshou? On VENUS, flaming hot colors and this one is soooo cool, so serene, so inviting to take that plunge with my shokoys hehehe I think Tackey has mastered this underwater 'floating' coz we have seen him do it 'KISETSU' and I am so envious at people who are so good in swimming. I panic when I no longer see the bottom part of the beach that is why I just wade or sit on the shallow part and get myself some more tan. I actually dont like those giant slides in pool parks either. Bad experience. Well, got sidetracked there haha if anyone sees this in any forum, you'll know its me. Ssshhh...himitsu ne?!

And today's the start of Tackey Enbujou musicale. 70+ shows ain't a joke so Im really wishing him all the energy, all the good sleep, all the oishii food-eating, all the beer drinking(just this once), all the pro-wrestling, all the composing and I'd even volunteer on the all day-all night body massaging (i'm only doing this for the greater good of fandom and nothing else ^_^) when this is through.

yaoi---east meets west

A few weeks back, I was able to catch the most talked about film that has (according to LIBRE tabloid XD) "made gay ok in Hollywood". It topbilled the list of Oscar hopefuls that are said to mark the "year of the queer" (with 'Capote' and 'Transamerica' joining the list). Yes, I am talking of none other than Ang Lee's controversial movie 'Brokeback Mountain'. Which so much reminded me of another movie of the same theme by director Yeung Fan titled 'Bishonen' which I should have reviewed when I watched it last February (I find it's the right time to do one now ne SNUFFLES-chan??? hehe). Both films tackled about homosexuality that are suppressed by culture and environment. Both films were starred by a cast of straight guys overflowing with testosterones but came out so convincingly as gays. I have to congratulate all of them for doing such a great job and having the courage by not limiting theirselves in their craft. Before I go any further, first, let me just give you a short background on both films.

These two films are almost the same if not for the location. One was shot in Wyoming while the other at the busy streets of Hongkong. Both our couple leads take on a very smooth start: Ennis and Jack meeting at work while Sam and Jet bumped into each other in a shop one morning. I dont know if it was love at first sight for the cowboys but it was for their eastern counterpart though their stories seem to thread the same path. A path first filled with the eagerness of knowing each other more. Until they realize how they can no longer live without the other. This is where things get a little more compromising. In Sam and Jet's case, Sam's upbringing as the perfect son his parents consider stood in the way of their happiness. He cannot face up to his father when he was caught by him with Jet one afternoon. His internal battles pushed him to his own demise afterwards and left Jet totally heartbroken. In BM, our cowboys may have had it smooth in their rendezvous to Brokeback for some 'fishing' but the constant need of Jack for intimacy and his growing demand for Ennis' time is opposed by Ennis' efforts to juggle a double life. One concealed from the other. As they continue with their own struggles trying to live their lives apart, Ennis was struck one day by the news of Jack's premature death. What made it doubly hard to accept was that he wasn't able to give Jack's wish of them getting a ranch in Brokeback---a little place he wished they'd could call their own.

Both films ended on a very, very sad note. My gay buddy who watched 'Brokeback' with us wept watching Ennis go through Jack's things and discovering his missing shirt hanged together with that of Jack's. Im sure Armi wept when Sam jumped off the building (110% sure of it XD). I hope not all same-sex love story would end this sad. I have gay friends too and I think they would also want a happy ending.

And since we're on it, let me just say, I may even be turning a little gay myself....yes, I confess, I am secretly having fantasies about this woman even if 'she' scares me at times >>>

PS: I just watched 'MEMOIRS of a GEISHA' the other night and I have to say, the book is much better although I kept giggling on the 'stage/platform' Sayuri zori. Its as if she brought her own portable stage with her. No wonder she was the star of the show. She came in prepared hahahahahaha Wished Sayuri had her zoris when Pumpkin brought Chairman instead of Nobu-san. Either she'll squish Pumpkin's toes with it or clunk her head with one throw of it. Either way, I see both can be fatal hahahaha ^^ Now, Im hoping that the 'DA VINCI CODE' wont disappoint me.

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT that after a short hibernation from blogging, I've come back with a very political entry??? I even surprised myself with that hehe. Anyways, a lot of things has happened these past days and I wouldn't even want to blog about what's been happening on my end coz it bores me and I assure you it'll bore you to death too. So lets just get on the more interesting parts. The parts I would love to talk about 24/7 (hell, if there is a 25/8, I would still be talking about him! XDDDD). For the past days I've been popping in and out of fandom, I have gathered that he has been busy with his preparations for the Enbujou musical which I was hoping to go to if not for another JAPANESE Embassy requirement which I cant fulfill (grrrrr!!! But THERE is a hope at the end of a tunnel. I see a light in that TxT Asian Tour ^__^). True, the pictures of him fully made up as a woman kinda surprised me and to be frank about it, Im having a hard time taking it in still. Tackey has been telling the fans how hellbent he is to become every woman's envy when he transforms himself as a woman and I was really anticipating how he'd look so I'll see how *envious* Id get but well, umm *clears throat*... ummmmmm...ok, he is not ugly. DEF not ugly but ermm... ummm...how do I put it?! Im actually lost for words! hahaha. Let's just say, I want him to finish that part of Enbujou in a flash so he'd be back to his old self again XD XD XD I really dont want to sound that I am belittling his efforts dakara I will take this out on the makeup artists who are working on him (gomen makeup peeps, I just love Tackey too much, Id spare him of all these so somebody's gotta take the blame and yeah, you're IT haha). Cmon now, I know Tackey can be more beautiful than that! I think it wouldn't be hard to make an OOOMPH of a woman out of a Takizawa Hideaki coz he's got all the nice features. The aquiline nose, the soulful eyes and his ever perfect lips. May I just add, the PERFECT SKIN as stated on the Oricon charts *lol* (me thinks that's such a weird category hahaha). All you guys need to do is enhance them not cover them up with cakes of foundation!!! (and now, here I am giving suggestions on how to make Tackey look va-va-va-voom! what has happened to me????!!!!) With all the costume changes he has to go through, I hope he'd be able to pull through the whole thing. This musicale would really be taihen but its gonna be another proud addition to Tackey's numerous accomplishments. Definitely.

Anyways, ANTICIPATION is building up as I have been waiting for the TxT calendar which CDJAPAN has just shipped. This happens to be the 1st TxT calendar that I'd be getting coz the last one just ran out of print so fast. I HOPE THIS ONE GETS TO ME EVEN BEFORE THE WEEK ENDS!!! Im so excited already. oooooOoooOOooOOoooooo pool pictures!!!!! ^___^ I am also anticipating for the TACKEY and TSUBA SOLOCON DVDs and that 'MICHI' single release and the ASIAN TxT tour (I have to gauge yet about that Jackie-Tackey movie coz if its going to be HOLLYWOOD, Im gonna protest!!! >.<). WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! Before I zone out to oblivion, my old mac just got bumped off so say hello to my new toy. Though im missing my fave LCD monitor, this one proves to be more promising coz it has 80GB! AND you know what that means ^_~ more TACKEY clips and stuff!!!! WHEEEEEEE!!!!! (see, its TACKEY first before anything else. SSSSHHHHH just dont tell my boss hahahahahahahaha)

Currently, my country lies in a political turmoil. To be honest, I am so pissed at my countrymen for abusing our democracy. Sometimes, I think the Philippines is not ready for it coz when I give it a thought, the corruption, the redtapes and all the faulty reasons our government is not working boil down to the abuse of our democracy.

Funny that we just celebrated the EDSA Revolution recently and what a way for the opposition to celebrate it by putting up another revolution in hopes to oust our current president. Like WHAT D F*** are they thinking??? I was lucky enough to be already alive to take part in the first EDSA Revolution where Ferdinand Marcos fleed away to Hawaii after his abusive dictatorship has pushed the masses to reclaim the country's freedom by uniting together and standing up against the once powerful tyrant. I take pride of that knowing that the years of the Philippines under Ferdinand Marcos were considered years of the nation's darkest days. I remember that I was cheering my way to EDSA with the words 'TAMA NA. SOBRA NA. PALITAN NA.' with the rest of my crew (a.k.a. brother and sisters and daddy-o) whilst wearing the famed yellow Ninoy Aquino shirt. I have actually the slightest idea why we were tie-ing yellow ribbons on the cars' windows and why the 'jaundice' color was so in. Being really young then, I just went with the cheery mood of the crowd. Oh you know me, I love a happy crowd haha.

Now about 20+ years later, everyone wants their own People Power. Even if it is for selfish reasons, they go marching down EDSA, ranting out in megaphones and criticizing every little mistakes our government make. See we already have what?! People Power 2 (the one against ERAP. Thank goodness it worked!), People Power 3 (the one against Macapagal. Hmmm...), People Power 4 (the one against Macapagal again. HO-HUM...*stretches* *counts sheep out of boredom*) and I think a People Power 5 (with again, Macapagal...EVERYONE GET A LIFE! JOIN THE FANDOMWORLD!!! XD). I didn't know that PEOPLE POWER could have so many installments, its like watching all the LOTR episodes in one lazy Sunday afternoon. Well, Peter Jackson just happened to make the LOTR episodes a little more interesting. I hope he'd not get insulted for my comparing our political crises to his celebrated movie sequels. Going back, as Ive been telling my ofcmates over lunch last week, its not like I LOVE OUR GOVERNMENT or anything. In all honesty, I hate politics. I hate our government but given that we dont have any other better candidate to take on the presidency right now, I say we stick to Macapagal and give her the last 2 years of her term. These oppositions are just vulture-ing on her position for their own evil agendas anyways so better they shut up if they have nothing to better to give. The Filipinos are having a very rough time already and the least we need are our officials bickering with each other, aggravating what's left of our sad, sad economic state.

WHOOOOOOPPSSSS!!!! I think I've just reached the farthest I'd go with politics. My brain is already oozing out of my nose *frantically looks for a tape to keep it in place* XDDDDDD
